New friends for Diwali

This semester gone by faster than any semester ever before and I am done with my semester examinations well. As Diwali is a head I planned to go home and I reached bus stop I was shocked by seeing the crowd there

There was a huge crowd to get down from the bus and within a minute I was inside the bus with so much of trouble and the bus was once again filled in completely. I have been travellingon same road about 3 years and this is the first time I am looking into these buses getting crowded and I thought the festival season has bought so many people come out of their house and the government transportations are making a lot of money. The bus is unbelievably crowded where I was not even able to turn my head to face the conductor for getting the tickets. But somehow I managed myself not to fall and held the bars above my head firmly. I could sense my nostrils inhaling and exhaling hot air which was filled with a mixture of smell with flowers, sweets, sweat and many such.. Finally I reached home I 'm exhausted.

I slept for 10 hours to get relief form last day, Mom awaked me and said get ready, and coffee is waiting for you and also get chicken from market. I grabbed bike keys and headed to market. Unlike the other days I could find the streets crowded with people who are in a hurry to complete their last minute purchases for the Diwali festival which falls after two days. Women were out for shopping to void their Men wallet. I can see new josh all in their faces. Some are buying fruits some are busy with selecting dress for Diwali. I was being a silent spectator over many such incidents on my way and finally after 10 minutes I reached the home with chicken.

Here, since I'm back, I connected to internet opened mail box;I notice there are many things I'm yet to figure out. If taken a look, I knew I was goanna find tremendous things yet to be sorted out and there are many things in a pending zone of my mind. I started checking mails some are job advertisements and some are spams and a few count of personal mails, I got a dozen mails from unknowns saying that ‘I like your blog’, ’How did u changed your background’, ‘I like ur post on Dravid it is simple supper’ and some more like this I replayed to mails. In the next tab I switched to BLOGGER.COM I was shocked by seeing the blog traffic and the number of followers following my blog. Those numbers excited me and I found new friends with a kind of same features like I have through my blog …..It was an exhilarating feeling--like a caterpillar emerging out of a cocoon..

                                     Happy Diwali Frnds

Royal salute to Rahul Dravid

Rahul Dravid is an Indian cricketer; sorry now it is former Indian cricketer. It is hard to say word former because I can’t see Indian cricket team without Dravid.

Rahul Dravid is known for his technique, and had been one of the best batsmen for the Indian cricket team. In the beginning, he was known as a defensive batsman who should be confined to Test cricket, and was dropped from the ODI. He drew criticism for not being able to adjust his style of play to the needs of ODI cricket, Dravid worked hard to change his game adjusting his batting style to suit the requirement of ODI cricket. It takes not much to prove himself as a perfect gentleman. Dravid had been branded as a Test specialist by experts and sports journalists alike. His nickname of 'The Wall' in Reebok advertisements is now used as his nickname. Rahul Dravid is one of the most consistent batsmen in the world.

Here the example; India reached 85–4 in reply to Australia's 556, when Dravid and Laxman made 303 for the fifth wicket. Laxman was dismissed for 148 and Dravid went on make 233, at that time the highest score by an Indian batsman outside India. He made 72 not out in the second innings, as a result India won. His performance compelled Sourav Ganguly to compare him with God. I still remember his only T20 innings for India in 2011, when he hit 3 consecutive sixes, and he was nicknamed 'Firewall '.

Every watches cricket, but I watched cricket for Dravid and his style. I learned many things form Dravid apart from cricket, the first and foremost is to maintain clam what may circumstances be, we should not give up. And the other thing is patience still I remember his words “Do the work with patience aiming at the goal until you
succeed”. And other thing is unfailingly courteous; he dealt with fans the way he batted, facing the unending requests for autographs and photos head on and without a flinch. It won him enormous respect wherever he went, not something readily associated with many of today’s sportsmen.

Dravid is not just like Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag who can make scoreboard not to walk to run with a speed of jet plane. He is just simple Indian cricketer I can recall his word after reaching 10,000 runs milestone in test career, he said, “It’s a proud moment for sure. For me, growing up, I dreamt of playing for India. When I look back, I probably exceeded my expectations with what I have done over the last 10 to 12 years. I never had an ambition to do it because I never believed – it is just a reflection of my longevity in the game”. What a simplicity….

When we look at his IPL career graph it is totally different from ODIs and test. First Dravid played for Royal challengers Bangalore, and then he shifted to Rajasthan Royals. But he never tasted the success of thrown. But in the last IPL season the way he was adorable. Three players and even franchise are found guilty for spot fixing. And crossing all hurdles as a captain is not a small one; once again he proved he is not like other he is something special.

'The Wall' has finally toppled. Rahul Dravid was dropped from the ODI team in 2009, but was selected again for an ODI series in England in 2011, surprising even Dravid himself since, although he had not officially retired from ODI cricket, he had not expected to be recalled. After being selected, he announced that he would retire from ODI cricket after the series. From TEST cricket in 2012 and IPL in 2013

Point to remember:
  • In 2004, Dravid was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India. On 7   September 2004.
  • Dravid is also one of the two batsmen to score 10,000 runs at a single batting position and is the third highest run scorer in Test Cricket.
  • Rahul Dravid saw 453 wickets fall while batting at the other side of the crease in a Test Career- the most by a batsman in a Test Career. And many more……..

Terrific role model saying that while youngsters look up to Tendulkar in awe, they could actually be Dravid”    __Suil Gavaskar

Rahul Dravid is a legend. I don't care if he is called lesser or greater than Sachin. In my eyes, he is more than just a cricketer. A man who did the impossible.. He made me want to be him. Thank you Dravid.

A lot of Constrains & Complexity

As I said that it is damn boring last week. I managed to get off it successfully. And I am all most done with my mini project. Madam returned with lot of things that are to be done by us. The first and foremost thing is mini project. She didn't accepted the mini projects that are done by us and assigned new task to complete, she got that tasks from Infosys and it is Employee Management System(platform C with Oracle connection). Now class was divided into teams with the same assignment but different platforms(C,C++,Java &…). We got constrains that are followed in developing of projects. Here starts the complication first our team leader should carve up the task, she is done with her job and I am in Designing and Integrating testing it is first time to hear these words it sounds funny.

My friend (Team leader, Team-B) has a blank face and baffled when our HOD said his platform is Java, bcoz he has no idea of Java concepts and not at all interested in project. I promised him that I will help him coding. As I promised I started java coding and it is almost completed not less in 4hrs (using JSP, JDBC, HTML+CSS) small changes to be made and left it to him. I give it to him, it made him to exhilarate.

It is time to formulate the status of project in class Team-A, Team-C done their presentation well now it is Team-B turn. The thing is he mentioned my name that “I got help from Sravankumar”, that’s it the total situation starts slipping. Madam started scolding him, meanwhile I too got some and she pointed the inefficiency of total team madam adopted the situation and made it weird, awkward and timorousness. But he was happy for saying truth in front of all.

This time I started him teaching a few basics in Java (function declaration, calling, and static fields) and he started picking the points noted and started working on coding first day we completed control flow and home page menu program. And in later sessions we came across function calling and JDBC. And the thing left is reports and documentation.

Let come to my project, project in C is not easy as project in Java. Basically I am not that depth in to C, our team started coding and I too started my own coding for the same project apart from other. Installed Turbo C++ compiler, as know basic of C I started working on Arrays and Structures. I know the most complexly part of C is Pointer handling. And I faced other complexity in connecting my C program with Oracle data base. I failed storing the data in Oracle data base I referred many books and many websites but I didn't get my program executed.
